About the role
We are seeking a .NET Developer with experience in the Online Travel Agency (OTA) domain to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and APIs using Microsoft .NET technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases to design queries, stored procedures, and data access solutions.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance-related problems.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, UI developers, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application quality and performance.
- Work on integrations related to travel/OTA platforms such as flight, hotel, booking, payment, or other travel services.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Good understanding of ASP.NET Core / Web API.
- Experience with REST APIs and API integrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
- Understanding of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and common design principles.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git or other version-control systems.
- Good debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
Domain Experience
- Prior experience working with OTA, travel, hospitality, airline, hotel booking, or travel technology platforms.
- Understanding of travel booking workflows, inventory, availability, pricing, reservations, or third-party travel APIs will be an advantage.
