.NET Developer III
About the role
As a Full Stack .NET Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise solutions within a collaborative and inclusive environment. You will help modernize applications, improve platform reliability, and deliver valuable user experiences while expanding your technical expertise and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support full-stack applications that support critical workplace and START/Digital Onboarding services.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives that improve application performance, reliability, security, and compliance.
- Build and integrate APIs and backend services that support business and technology objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while helping maintain platform stability and reliability.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack web application development; BS/MS degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Schwab domain technology experience
- Experience developing and supporting web-based applications using modern development practices.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for developing backend services and APIs.
- Experience troubleshooting application issues and supporting production environments.
- Working knowledge of application security concepts and secure coding practices.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for developing responsive user interfaces.
- Experience building single-page applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Experience designing, creating, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL data stores.
- Experience implementing unit tests and supporting software quality practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and performance optimization.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Experience with application performance monitoring and performance optimization.
