About the role

The Senior Software Engineer in WAMM, A&A, is a key member of a technical team transforming the utility company's operations through digital means. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems using advanced programming languages and development tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other engineers, designers, and product managers, to ensure the software is functional, scalable, and reliable.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, driving technical direction and architectural decisions.
• Work in a hybrid role, with mandatory days in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

• Extensive .NET 5.0+ experience: 4+ years
• Extensive frontend experience (Angular or React/Next): 4+ years
• Prior Experience Upskilling
• Cloud-first development and troubleshooting
• Able to quickly learn, implement, and teach new tools, techniques, languages, and processes
• Able to talk with stakeholders and customers alike
• Maintain end-to-end solutions, address production bugs, and ensure overall system reliability

Preferred Skills

• Paired Programming
• Test Driven Development
• Experience with SAP PO and BTP endpoints
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.X
• Understanding of PowerApps
• Microsoft Azure experience
• VM maintenance and updates
• Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing system
• Understands Networking and can document flows (Firewalls and IA Diagrams)
