About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Core Developer to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications using .NET Core, C#, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, extensive experience building scalable enterprise applications, and hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices. Experience working on money movement or payment systems such as Zelle, ACH, RTP, FedNow, or similar platforms is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Drive application modernization and migration from legacy .NET Framework to .NET 8/9.
  • Design and develop solutions supporting money movement/payment processing platforms (e.g., Zelle, ACH, RTP, FedNow, Wire Transfers).
  • Mentor and guide development teams through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical roadmap discussions.
  • Promote engineering best practices including Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in .NET development.
  • Mandatory experience working with money movement/payment systems (e.g., Zelle, ACH, RTP, FedNow, Wire Transfers).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills

  • Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with React, Angular, or Blazor.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to drive technical decisions and architectural discussions.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (a plus).
  • Passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude APIs, or other LLM integrations.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, observability, and cloud-native architectures.
