.NET Application Developer w/ Power Platform - HBITS-08-14985

About the role

This position will be in support of the LiFT Program. This program will encompass multiple projects for remediation of legacy applications within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET applications using ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, and REST services.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support complex Tax Return processing systems.
• Integrate .NET/Blazor solutions with SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Manage Azure services, Windows Server setup and configuration, and IIS including X.509 and SSL certificates.
• Develop Microsoft Power Platform Canvas applications, Power Automate flows, and Custom Connectors.
• Collaborate using DevOps practices, GitHub for source control, and Jira for project management, agile development, and defect tracking.

Requirements

• 84 months of experience with .NET technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, and REST services.
• 84 months of experience with SQL Server, database integration, and performance tuning.
• 24 months of experience with a Government Taxation organization, including business knowledge and end-user support.
• 60 months of experience with Azure services, Windows Server, and IIS management.
• 24 months of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Canvas apps, Power Automate, Custom Connectors).
• 60 months of experience with DevOps practices, GitHub, and Jira.
