Nephrology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Nephrology team, providing inpatient and outpatient care on a hospital campus. The role involves comprehensive nephrology services including evaluation of AKI, dialysis management, kidney disease outpatient care, and transplant recipient management. The position emphasizes a patient-centered approach, teamwork, and continuous learning to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist inpatient providers with new consults and follow-ups for acute kidney injury and electrolyte issues
• Evaluate dialysis patients and write inpatient dialysis orders
• Support inpatient charting and documentation
• Assist providers during outpatient Nephrology clinics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies required; Master's preferred
• Training in Nephrology not required; will be provided
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills
