Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.
- Manage patients with hypertension, electrolyte disorders, glomerular diseases, and other renal conditions.
- Cook up inpatient and outpatient nephrology services, including dialysis management as applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support organizational goals for clinical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
- Board Eligible physicians must obtain Board Certification within the required timeframe established by the applicable specialty board and organizational credentialing requirements.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia.
