Neonatology Physician

About the Role

Supporting a Level Three neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery, this position focuses on providing high-quality neonatal care in a specialized setting.

Responsibilities

• Managing neonatal intensive care cases
• High-risk deliveries and cesarean sections
• Ventilation and neonatal resuscitation
• Chest tubes, central and arterial lines
• Pulmonary artery catheter placement
• Umbilical and peripheral catheterizations

Requirements

• Board certification in Neonatology
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program advanced provider or instructor status
• Neonatal Advanced Life Support preferred
• Active Michigan medical license
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Schedule

• Covering approximately 9 weeks of day and night shifts in 7 to 14 day blocks
• Credentialing process taking around 120 days or more
