Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

About the role

This locum tenens opportunity is for a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The facility uses Epic EMR and expects credentialing within 120+ days. AMN Healthcare, a digitally enabled workforce solutions partner, supports the placement.

Responsibilities

• Manage neonatal intensive care for 10–12 patients per day.
• Perform neonatal procedures and resuscitation.
• Provide care during 12‑hour day or night shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) starting July 5, 2026.

Requirements

• Board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Active Michigan RN/NP license.

Qualifications

Board certification, NRP, and active Michigan license satisfy the core qualifications for this role.

Skills

• Neonatal intensive care management.
• Neonatal procedures and resuscitation.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced NICU.

Pay
