Neonatology – NICU Hospitalist – Staff Physician (JR222888)

About the role

The Neonatology – NICU Hospitalist position is responsible for providing medical care to neonates in the NICU. This includes attending to patient needs, coordinating with other healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress and communicate with families and referring physicians
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
• Experience in pediatric or neonatal intensive care

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay

Salary range: $180,000 - $220,000 annually

Schedule

Shifts are typically 12-hour blocks, Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage required.
