Neonatologist, Riley Children's at Community Hospitals, Indianapolis
Clinical Responsibilities
Serve as a primary daytime attending physician at Community Hospital North, Community Hospital East, and Community Hospital Westfield, all Level III NICU's in the Indianapolis metro area, with potential opportunities to provide coverage at other NICUs managed by the Division.
Participate in the high-risk delivery service and provide consultation for high-risk obstetric patients in the Community Health Network.
Night call responsibilities are an expected part of the role and include in-house coverage during both weeknights and weekends.
Academic & Professional Engagement
Candidates with experience in quality improvement initiatives or the development of clinical guidelines to reduce variation in care are highly valued.
Opportunities for academic engagement and scholarly activity are encouraged. A faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine is available and will be commensurate with experience and academic interests.
Qualifications
- Completion of pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship
- BE/BC in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine
- Physician MD/DO licensed in or eligible for Indiana license
