Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital — a 486-bed facility and cornerstone of the Carondelet Health Network — is seeking a Neonatologist to join its expanding Women & Newborn Center in Tucson, Arizona. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the trajectory of a growing Level II NICU with a clear path toward Level III designation. You'll practice within a collegial, mission-driven environment backed by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated nursing team committed to family-centered care. Position Highlights

- Enhanced Sign-On Bonus

- Level II NICU with plans to advance to Level III designation
- Average daily census of 5
- On-site physician coverage 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.; NNP coverage 2 p.m. – 8 a.m. with physician call-in (30-minute response time)
- Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation
- Supported by hospital-based Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated NICU nursing team
- Practice within a modern Women & Newborn Center featuring spacious birthing suites, midwife-assisted deliveries, and couplet care
Candidate Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- AZ medical license or eligibility to obtain
