About the role
Pediatrix Neonatology of San Antonio is offering a 12-month Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program for graduate physician assistants (PAs) seeking to subspecialize in neonatology. The program provides mentoring, didactic teaching, simulations, skills training, and clinical experiences to prepare PAs for delivering comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns.
Responsibilities
- Managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care, including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide, and ECMO
Qualifications
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA program
- Must be a NCPPA Certified PA prior to matriculating
- Must attain licensure as a PA in Texas prior to matriculating
