Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)
About the role
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner to join their well-established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs, in Knoxville, Tennessee on a per diem basis. East Tennessee Children’s Hospital is a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 50 and a new state-of-the-art unit. Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide.
Responsibilities
- Caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
- Average daily census of 50
- Approximately 7,000 deliveries per year
- Strong pediatric subspecialty support
Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatology
- Minimum of a master’s degree
- TN license or IMLC license required
- Local candidates preferred
