About the role

We are seeking an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our team of highly experienced, board-certified neonatologists and NNPs at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center and Emory Decatur Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Piedmont Eastside Medical Center, Level III NICU (Snellville, GA): NNP works in-house 24/7. Responsibilities include providing medical management of critically ill neonates and Newborn Nursery care.
  • Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is a rapidly growing OB service line with over 1,000 deliveries a year. The OB nursing team has many years of practical, as well as in-service education, maintaining and updating knowledge on mother/baby care.
  • Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is a 310-bed multi-campus system offering comprehensive medical and surgical programs, including cardiovascular, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric and 24-hour emergency care.
  • Emory Decatur Hospital, Level III NICU (Decatur, GA): NNP provides 24/7 in-house coverage. Sub-specialty coverage is available. NICU support services include neonatal respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapies, and audiology services.
  • Both hospitals have received recognition, with Emory Decatur Hospital being awarded a 5-Star Hospital Recognition from the Georgia Department of Public Health in 2015.

Snellville is conveniently located approximately 18 miles east of Atlanta. It is a bustling suburb with small-town charm and has become one of the fastest-growing cities in Gwinnett County. Snellville offers an abundance of restaurants, shopping centers, and nearby attractions, making it a great place to live.

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a master’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
