Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We’re looking for a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our collaborative and compassionate NICU team at Tacoma General Hospital, a leading facility in the Pacific Northwest.

About the role

• High-Acuity Experience: Work in a Level III/IV NICU with approximately 4,000 deliveries annually, offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical environment.
• Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy 24-hour in-house shifts, allowing for fewer workdays and more time to recharge or explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
• Diverse Practice Settings: Rotate through our Level II nurseries in Auburn and Puyallup, gaining broad experience across different care levels.
• Supportive for New Grads: Begin your NNP career with a 1-year structured orientation program designed for new graduates, including:
  • Comprehensive onboarding with a dedicated “buddy” NNP mentor
  • Consistent 1:1 support from Neonatologists
  • Hands-on experience in a high-acuity environment

Requirements

• Current, board certified/eligible NNP specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree

Pay

Base pay range: $150,000 - $195,000 based on years of experience as a licensed NNP. Bonus potential available.

Schedule

Regular full-time team members work 30 hours or more per week and are eligible for benefits. Enjoy 24-hour in-house shifts, allowing for fewer workdays.
