Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

About the Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time neonatal nurse practitioner to join our growing practice of 39 NNPs and 16 neonatologists in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Position located at Rose Medical Center with a 25-bed, level III NICU. Full-time is a flexible combination of 12 and 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

12-hour shift responsibilities:

• Attend all high-risk deliveries
• Round on well-newborns in conjunction with Neonatologist
• Provide downtime coverage to 24-hour NNP for 2-4 hours in the afternoon

24-hour shift responsibilities:

• NICU management of term and premature infants
• Occasional delivery attendance

Each NNP has a home base and is part of a core team, and is privileged in at least one additional hospital within the practice. NNPs and neonatologists work collaboratively in providing care to high-risk patients. Full range of services are provided in L&D, well-newborn and NICU Levels-II, III and IV. Services provided include but are not limited to, surgery and sophisticated respiratory care with an extensive range of pediatric subspecialty support.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Active CO license or in process preferred

Compensation

Salary: $130K-$182K per year based on years of experience for a 1.0 FTE position of 2,080 annual hours.
