About the Role

Lone Star Neonatology is seeking board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join a busy practice covering 7 Medical City facilities in the DFW area. The practice emphasizes quality excellence, strong clinical skills, and work-life balance. NICUs range from Level II-IV, with the majority being Level III facilities, and have a continuous Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) referral base.

You will join a collaborative team of skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Neonatologists dedicated to achieving the best patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour in-house coverage (majority of schedule) with a physician on call
  • Provide 9-hour coverage at facilities with 24-hour in-house physician coverage
  • Perform procedures such as PICC line placement, intubations, and others
  • Practice at the top of your license within a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • Board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • Proficiency in neonatal procedures (e.g., PICC line, intubations) preferred

Medical City Arlington is a 433-bed, acute care hospital in South Arlington with:

  • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Level III Maternal Designation
  • 33 medical/surgical rooms, including 14 antepartum rooms
  • 23 labor and delivery rooms
  • 3 C-section operating rooms
  • GME teaching hospital
