Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
Join a dynamic NICU team in Bismarck, ND as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. This opportunity is suited for a provider excited to deliver comprehensive care to high-risk infants and their families. Experience is preferred but not required.
You will work in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit alongside an experienced and collegial group of neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Shifts are available in 12, 16, or 24-hour formats.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical care in a Neonatal ICU inpatient setting.
- Conduct medical histories and perform complete physical examinations.
- Initiate appropriate lab, radiology tests, and other special tests required for evaluation.
- Perform routine and specialized procedures as credentialed.
- Prescribe and monitor medications.
- Participate in medical team rounds and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other medical personnel.
- Educate patient families and answer questions regarding diseases, treatments, related drug and treatment side effects, and hazards.
- Refer patients to specialists as appropriate.
As a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary care team, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical acumen and compassion, providing expert care to vulnerable infants and their families.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
- Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required.
- Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in North Dakota.
- BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Pay
$144,061 - $159,226 per year.
