About the role

The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for the general supervision and coordination of activities of nursing personnel on shift, and during weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in the planning and implementation of patient care. Additional duties may be assigned that are within the scope of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, weekends, and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment, care planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc.) may be required depending on assigned area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
• Working conditions: sitting 20% of workday, mobility 80%; occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching; frequent reaching, use of hands, repetitive action; occasional lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs; continuous need for clear diction and hearing sensitivity; continuous visual acuity at close and distant range; inside protected from weather but not temperature changes; minimal noise; much computer work; occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock; some exposure to infectious disease; some exposure to hazardous chemicals; occasional exposure to radiation.

Third Shift (7p) – Regular Full‑time.
