Schedule
Full‑time night shift, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
- Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
- Supervise non‑licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
- Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
Requirements
- ADN / BSN required (with 12‑month enrollment and 24‑month completion for Magnet Hospital)
- Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
- Minimum one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
- STABLE certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
