Neighborhood Construction Manager

About the role

A Neighborhood Construction Manager (NCM) manages the entire construction process from start to finish as the on-site leader responsible for all day-to-day operations at an assigned neighborhood. This includes quality control, scheduling trade partners and installations, maintaining site safety and efficiency, and ensuring timely completion of all scheduled tasks. The NCM communicates with homebuyers, homeowners, trade partners, and inspection partners, orders building materials, reviews home selections, and collaborates with sales, purchasing, and construction teams throughout the building process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction operations at assigned neighborhood
• Manage quality control and scheduling of trade partners and installations
• Ensure site cleanliness, safety, and efficient workflow
• Coordinate timely completion of tasks with trade and inspection partners
• Communicate and hold meetings with homebuyers and homeowners
• Order building materials and review/confirm home selections
• Build relationships with sales, purchasing, and construction teams
• Ensure homes are built to quality standards and delivered on time

Requirements

Must Haves:

• Residential construction experience
• Proficient in reading blueprints and site plans
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Strong active listening, confidence, and respect in communication
• Customer service experience
• Ability to learn various job-related technologies
