About the role
A Neighborhood Construction Manager (NCM) manages the entire construction process from start to finish, serving as the on-site leader responsible for all day-to-day operations at an assigned neighborhood. This includes quality control, scheduling trade partners and installations, maintaining site safety and efficiency, and ensuring timely completion of tasks by trade and inspection partners.
Daily responsibilities involve key communication and meetings with homebuyers and homeowners, ordering building materials, reviewing and confirming home selections, and collaborating with sales, purchasing, and construction teams throughout the building process.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations at assigned neighborhood
- Manage quality control and ensure homes are built to company standards
- Schedule trade partners and installations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work site
- Ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks by trade and inspection partners
- Communicate with homebuyers and homeowners
- Order building materials and review/confirm selections for each home
- Build relationships with sales, purchasing, and construction teams
- Read and interpret blueprints and site plans
Requirements
- Residential construction experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints and site plans
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to learn and use various construction technologies
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Self-starter with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Focus on timely completion of homes under construction
- Active listening, confidence, and respect in communication

- College degree
