Need Project Manager with Retail / Omnichannel experience - Hybrid - Ohio

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Retail and Omnichannel experience to lead technology initiatives for a major retail organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex projects across e-commerce, stores, digital channels, order management, and customer experience.

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid, 1–2 days/week on-site). Duration: 18–24+ months.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technology projects from planning through delivery and production implementation.
• Manage Retail/Omnichannel initiatives across digital, e-commerce, store, and customer-facing platforms.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, technology, product, engineering, QA, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Track project status and provide regular reporting to leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
• Manage multiple workstreams and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate integrations between retail systems, e-commerce platforms, order management, inventory, POS, and digital channels.
• Drive UAT, deployment, cutover, and post-production activities.
• Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with distributed/onshore/offshore teams and third-party vendors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience.
• Strong Retail/Omnichannel project experience.
• Experience with e-commerce, digital commerce, stores, POS, OMS, inventory, or customer experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources.
• Experience working with enterprise technology teams.
• Strong MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, and/or Confluence experience.
• Experience working with large enterprise clients and cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications

• PMP certification.
• Retail or fashion industry experience.
• Experience with large-scale digital transformation.
• Experience with IBM or similar enterprise consulting environments.
