NEBS / Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support NEBS (GR-1089, GR-63) regulatory compliance testing
• Perform regulatory evaluations for North America and international markets (CE, CSA, ETSI)
• Absorb and develop test plans, procedures, and reports
• Set up and monitor equipment during compliance testing, ensuring accurate data collection
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot non-conformances during testing
• Collaborate with design engineering teams to resolve compliance issues
• Ensure testing aligns with industry standards and certification requirements
• Sustain lab operations and maintain test equipment
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting of test results

Qualifications

NEBS / Regulatory Compliance Engineer candidates must have:

• At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance testing, preferably in the telecommunications sector
• Proven experience in NEBS (GR-1089, GR-63) and ETSI regulatory compliance testing
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and EMC standards (GR-1089-CORE)
• Experience with ETSI and CE certifications
• Knowledge of physical protection requirements (GR-63-CORE)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in using test equipment and software tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills
