About the role
Supports operations in Geismar, LA by performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using VT (Visual Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), and PMI (Pulsed Magnetic Induction) techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of components to identify defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Use ultrasonic testing equipment to detect internal flaws in materials.
- Apply penetrant testing methods to locate surface-breaking cracks and imperfections.
- Utilize pulsed magnetic induction to evaluate the integrity of ferromagnetic materials.
- Document findings and report results accurately and timely.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to resolve issues and improve testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in NDT.
- Knowledge of NDT techniques including VT, UT, PT, and PMI.
- Proficiency with NDT equipment and software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with NDT software and data management systems.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
