Multi-cert NDT Technician (RT/MT/PT/UTT)
Acuren is seeking Multi-cert NDT Technicians (RT/MT/PT/UTT) for an embedded role in the Lima, OH area. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, and 30 days of per diem are available to qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
- Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
- Organize and report test results.
- Perform specialized inspections.
- May instruct and supervise others.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Level II RT, Level II MT, PT, UTT, and VT certifications.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
- Knowledge of NDT equipment.
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test (90–120 day lookback) and comply with periodic random testing per client requirements.
