Responsibilities
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship
- Must pass a background check and drug test
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- SNT-TC-IA Level II Visual testing, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Penetrant
- Shop math and print reading skills required
- Ability to distinguish color to meet specific inspection criteria
- Ability to use basic computer functions for data entry, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a positive attitude
- Potentially travel for work for additional training as needed
- Work overtime as requested
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- Must be dependable
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
Additional Recommended Skills
- Ability to perform visual and liquid penetrant inspections on castings
- Review and interpret radiographic film
