About the role
At Jered, a PAR Systems Company, we design and build large-scale ship systems for the U.S. Navy and other customers operating in high-consequence environments where performance and reliability are critical. As an NDT Level II Technician, you will ensure the integrity of welds and assemblies through non-destructive testing and accurate inspection records.
Responsibilities
- Perform VT, PT, and MT inspections in accordance with drawings and specifications while verifying dimensional compliance using standard tools.
- Verify inspection records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready, supporting full traceability and product acceptance.
- Audit welding procedures, confirm qualifications, and ensure equipment calibration while collaborating with manufacturing to resolve issues without compromising quality.
- Contribute to ISO 9001 efforts, maintain NDT equipment, and support safe, compliant operations.
- Expand into additional inspection disciplines and advance your NDT certifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years' inspection experience in a welding/fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering fabrication and assembly drawings
- NDT Level II certifications in the VT, MT & PT methods
- Proficient with Hand measuring/layout tools (Tape Measure, combination square, level)
- Proficient with basic math (addition/subtraction of fractions)

Qualifications
- Navy (Tech Pub/278 and/or MIL-STD-1689) inspection experience preferred
- Advanced measurement/layout tools proficiency (transit/optic level, micrometers, CMM) preferred
