NDT Technician

Audit – Analyze – Assist – Advise – Assure

• Analyze bond lines & laminate using infrared equipment and reporting software.
• Report IL’s and communicate any outstanding issues to Quality leadership.
• Work with QE/PE on quality related issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Metronor system.
• Participate in internal or external audits for NDT process.
• Help with gage studies or projects related to NDT.
• Complete current training and provide updates on training materials.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic software applications including Excel.
• Ability to follow WI, CI’s.
• Basic trouble shooting skills.
• The ability to work with multiple different teams.
• Communication skills, verbal and email with management, supervisors, and engineering.
• Internal IR certification.
• Able to work with limited shift leadership support and self-directed.
• Visual requirements per NDT written practice.

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of Production, Yard, and quality departments.
• A High School/GED or related job experience.

Shift

Mon - Fri: 10pm- 6:30am

Pay

Base pay for this position is $22.32-$27.50.
