About the role
Responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) on various aerospace components to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT/NDI tests using various techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle inspection, and dye penetrant inspection.
- Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance personnel.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve testing procedures.
- Ensure all tests adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT/NDI testing.
- Knowledge of NDT/NDI testing methods and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current certification in NDT/NDI testing from a recognized organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data management systems and software tools used in NDT/NDI.
