NDT/NDI Test Engineer

About the role

Responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) on various aerospace components to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT/NDI tests using various techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle inspection, and dye penetrant inspection.
• Document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance personnel.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot issues and improve testing procedures.
• Ensure all tests adhere to relevant codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT/NDI testing.
• Knowledge of NDT/NDI testing methods and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current certification in NDT/NDI testing from a recognized organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with data management systems and software tools used in NDT/NDI.

Pay

• $60,000 - $75,000 annually.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
