About the role

The NDT Level III Inspector – Multi-Method performs and interprets nondestructive examinations across multiple testing methods to ensure materials and assemblies meet applicable quality and safety standards. This position supports inspection activities in regulated industrial environments and requires strong technical judgment, documentation accuracy, and adherence to established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive testing using RT, UT, PT, MT, or VT methods on ferrous and non-ferrous materials in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate inspection equipment while ensuring proper documentation of calibration and traceability.
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results against drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed inspection reports and maintain organized records of findings and activities.
  • Support safe work practices and collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure compliance and inspection integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional nondestructive testing experience applying multiple inspection methods.
  • Documented Level II certifications in RT, UT, PT, MT, or VT.
  • Active IRRSP certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret inspection results and apply applicable codes, standards, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to travel as required and work independently in industrial environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, or other high-consequence manufacturing environments.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding Level I technicians or trainees.
  • Familiarity with digital inspection reporting systems or electronic quality management systems.
  • Experience working with complex weldments, castings, or structural assemblies.

Benefits

For this role, the target hourly range is $40-60 (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
