NDT Level II Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret NDT requirements, codes, and standards required by contract.
• Perform NDT Methods: Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), Ultrasonic (UTT) Testing, Magnetic Particle (MT) Testing, Vacuum Box (LT/BT) Testing, and Penetrant (PT) Testing.
• Collect and process data created by the inspections, in accordance with HMT and customer’s procedures and requirements.
• Drive a vehicle safely in an oil and gas facility and field sites.
• Be proficient with standard computer software (such as MS Word and Excel).
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer; and promote a positive attitude towards coworkers.
• Ensure that all HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Pass DISA background and drug and alcohol screen.
• Current Driver’s License from state of residence.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%+.

Skills and Knowledge

• Must be able to interpret NDT requirements, codes, and standards required by contract.
• Must be able to perform Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), Ultrasonic (UTT) Testing, Magnetic Particle (MT) Testing, Vacuum Box (LT/BT) Testing, and Penetrant (PT) Testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
• Trained in OSHA 10 and or OSHA 30 Respirator fit tested (current).
• Current CPR & First Aid.

Required Qualifications & Education

• Must be able to pass HMT certification standards.
• Must be able to pass DISA background and drug and alcohol screen.
• Must have a current Driver’s License from state of residence.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to travel up to 75%+.
• Must have a passport (desired).
• Must have additional certifications such as Certifications in AMMFL, ACFM, SLOFEC (plus).
• Must have a TWIC Card.
• Must have self-motivation with good written and verbal communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
