NDT Level II RT Techs & Level II PAUT Techs - NAVSEA PROJECTS

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Company, is seeking experienced NDT Level II RT Technicians and Level II Phased Array (PAUT) Technicians to support NAVSEA projects along the East Coast. These are excellent opportunities for qualified NDT professionals looking for long-term project work (12+ months) supporting major shipbuilding and defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform weld radiography (RT Technicians)
• Perform weld inspections using encoded Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) systems (PAUT Technicians)

Requirements

• Current ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II certification in the relevant method (RT or UT/PAUT)
• Complete and verifiable training and OJT documentation
• Ability to pass client and corporate QA documentation review
• U.S. Citizenship (ITAR requirement)

Qualifications

Level II RT Technicians

• Experience in shipbuilding, heavy fabrication, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with NAVSEA requirements and military specifications preferred

Level II Phased Array (PAUT) Technicians

• Strong Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) experience
• Encoded PAUT experience strongly preferred
• Experience performing weld inspections using encoded scanning systems
• Shipbuilding, naval, or military inspection experience preferred
• Familiarity with NAVSEA requirements and military specifications is a plus
