Essential responsibilities for this NADCAP Level II Technician role include:
- Setting up and standardizing equipment, processing parts, interpreting and evaluating results for acceptance or rejection, and documenting outcomes.
- Understanding the scope and limitations of the technique/method used.
- Conducting system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
- Providing guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level I personnel.
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and other contractual documents controlling the method.
- Possessing basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Qualifying as a Level II NDT Technician within 2 years of hire.
- Providing off-shift coverage for FPI & X-ray production operations (2nd or 3rd shift).
Requirements
- Solid understanding of basic math (must pass a Basic Math Test).
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (must pass a Computer Literacy Test).
- Ability to pass a vision test (Snellen 20/25).
- Ability to work independently and stay on task.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to high-risk/hazardous operations, chemical exposure, or extended shifts.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Desired Qualifications
- NAS-410 Level II certification (within the last 3 years) in FPI and/or X-ray.
- Working knowledge of product technologies used by JTI.
- Ability to collaborate in multiple settings (e.g., one-on-one, teams, customers, auditors).
