NDT Tech - X-Ray Level 2 (2nd Shift)

About the role

The X‑Ray Technician Level II reviews digital and film images to verify the integrity and quality of highly technical parts before they are shipped to customers.

Responsibilities

• Review digital and film images to ensure parts meet integrity and quality standards before shipment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and follow all safety rules, providing recommendations to improve workplace safety.
• Contribute to team production goals by meeting operational and quality standards for high customer satisfaction.
• Review processed X‑ray film using appropriate methods to confirm castings conform to customer specifications.
• Read and accurately follow technique‑card instructions; plan methods for completing assignments.
• Record and report results using the appropriate systems.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated per specifications.
• Train and guide less‑skilled employees to support their development and performance.
• Interface with engineering and management to propose corrective actions for problem resolution.
• Perform other duties of equal, greater, or lesser complexity as required or assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred; may be substituted by manufacturing experience).
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in the casting industry is a plus.
