About the role
We regularly hire for this role throughout the year and review applications as openings become available.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Electromagnetic (EMI) methods.
- Verify equipment calibration and inspection criteria compliance.
- Conduct changeovers and standardization of automated equipment for different pipe dimensions.
- Identify and remove defects using manual grinding tools.
- Complete visual inspections of internal and external pipe surfaces.
- Report deviations and provide feedback on recurring defects.
- Execute 5S/Lean practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Prior experience in OCTG NDT or Quality roles (preferred).
- Familiarity with calculations (Snell's law, electromagnetism formulas) (preferred).
- NDT Level 1 or 2 certifications in UT, EMI, and MPI (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
