What You Will Do
- Perform Fluorescent Penetration inspection methods on a large variety of engine cases.
- Determine and verify conformance to work instructions and repair scope by marking areas of the part not meeting criteria.
- Clean and process parts using FPI Booth.
- Inspect internal case structure using inspection equipment for this method.
- Prepare and complete required inspection documents (manual and electronic).
- Complete reports and stamp work instructions to indicate acceptability of parts and completion of work scope.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations, and materials or other personnel as needed.
- Review work instructions, repair operations requirements, and blueprints.
- Use inspection tools throughout the process, including Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) Booth and equipment.
- Aid in developing specific test techniques.
- Comply with DOT and FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Programs Policy.
Qualifications You Must Have
- High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous experience/education in NDT methods – Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI).
- Experience in aviation component repair.
- Basic knowledge of MS office programs.
- SAP experience is a plus.
