NDT Inspector - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

What You Will Do

• Perform Fluorescent Penetration inspection methods on a large variety of engine cases.
• Determine and verify conformance to work instructions and repair scope by marking areas of the part not meeting criteria.
• Clean and process parts using FPI Booth.
• Inspect internal case structure using inspection equipment for this method.
• Prepare and complete required inspection documents (manual and electronic).
• Complete reports and stamp work instructions to indicate acceptability of parts and completion of work scope.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, quality lab, operations, and materials or other personnel as needed.
• Review work instructions, repair operations requirements, and blueprints.
• Use inspection tools throughout the process, including Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI) Booth and equipment.
• Aid in developing specific test techniques.
• Comply with DOT and FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Programs Policy.

Qualifications You Must Have

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1-year of relevant experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Previous experience/education in NDT methods – Fluorescent Penetration Inspection (FPI).
• Experience in aviation component repair.
• Basic knowledge of MS office programs.
• SAP experience is a plus.
