About the role
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is hiring an NDT Quality Inspector at their Hager City, WI plant on 2nd Shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform all UT Inspection functions following the requirements of ASNT SNT TC-1A for a Level II
- Perform visual and ultrasonic weld inspections to the requirements of AWS D1.1
- Perform magnetic particle inspection using dry powder yoke method
- Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products
- Ensure all documentation is accurately and neatly completed
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
- Be professional with all personnel and possess effective communication skills
- Participate in the training process of Level I Inspectors
- Perform work functions while standing for long periods of time
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Background in Quality Control or related field
- Experienced in the use of inspection tools and precision measuring equipment
- Hands on experience performing Visual Inspections on welds
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
- NDT classroom training certificate and documented OJT hours
- Able to work second shift
- Able to perform work functions while standing for long periods of time

- Basic knowledge of Welding and Fabrication
