About the role

The NDI Technician, F-35- Level 4 position at Fort Smith, AR is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the effective operation of F-35 aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on F-35 aircraft systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to avionics, engines, and other critical systems
• Document maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors
• Participate in training programs to stay current with F-35 technology advancements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and efficiency

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in aviation maintenance or similar field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal aviation maintenance program preferred
• Knowledge of F-35 aircraft systems and operations
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
