NDE Technician - Level II

About the Role

Turner Specialty Services, L.L.C. is seeking an experienced NDE Technician - Level II for work in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The role involves conducting NDT inspections, interpreting and reporting results, and providing support to Level III technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conducts NDT inspections in various methods.
• Interprets and reports results of inspections.
• Provides support to Level III technicians.
• Instructs and/or supervises trainees.
• Performs additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be certified in Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT).
• Must have RT-Level II Certification.
• Valid driver's license and TWIC card required.

Requirements

• Drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Documentation needed: NDE classroom training records, OJT hours, past certifications, and resume.
• Local candidates preferred; per diem is not available for this position.

Functional Requirements

• Climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level.
• Maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.
• Lifting 30-50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead.
• Standing, sitting, walking, seeing, and hearing with or without correction.
• Following set procedures, applying basic mathematical skills, and planning work.
