ND Pharmacy Technician in Training
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
- Champion Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assist with enrolling patients.
- Maintain prescription information to ensure accurate records.
- Understand and follow Medicare Part B requirements.
- Troubleshoot any rejected claims or billing issues.
- Absorb and assist with Medicare Part D questions.
- Maintain proper level of nursing home filling procedures.
- Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
- Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
- Able to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
- Good attendance and punctuality is required in order to fulfill the essential job functions.
Physical Demands
- Long periods of standing.
- Frequent talking and hearing.
- Handling, operating objects, tools, or controls.
- Reaching with hands and arms.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Applicant should possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality, and be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and currently be or willing to become a certified pharmacy technician per North Dakota state requirements.

Schedule
This position will be expected to work across different store locations in both Bismarck and Mandan once trained.
Qualifications
- Completion of Thrifty White Pharmacy's Training Program (ASHP/ACPE Accredited) is required, along with all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
- Candidates must be willing to commit to completing the program within the timeline provided.
- At least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently be or willing to become a certified pharmacy technician per North Dakota state requirements.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
