NCV/EMG Technician

About the role

Responsible for performing nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) procedures under the supervision of a physician. Conducts diagnostic tests to evaluate nerve and muscle function.

Responsibilities

• Administer nerve and muscle testing procedures
• Record test results accurately and document findings
• Prepare patients for testing and assist during procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Communicate test results to referring physicians and patients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Current certification in NCV/EMG from a recognized organization
• Experience in medical laboratory settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Skills

• Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy
• Knowledge of electrodiagnostic equipment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
