About the role

Seeking an NCT/Medical Assistant who provides expertise and champions patient care. As part of an amazing team, you will deliver meaningful patient care as an X-ray Tech.

Responsibilities

  • Take vital signs, collect lab specimens, perform EKGs, and administer IM injections
  • Perform all x-ray/imaging services according to provider’s orders and update patient charts accordingly
  • Collect patient history and document in the EHR appropriately
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages
  • Assist with check-in/check-out, including auditing charts
  • Maintain records and logs on activities such as in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to external labs
  • Keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress

Requirements

  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting (helpful)
  • Experience using an EHR system (beneficial)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) (required)
  • General Medical Radiology Technician (GMRT), Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT), or Non-Registered Technician (NCT) license in state of residency (required)
  • Current certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) (preferred)
  • Current BLS Certification (required within 30 days of start)
  • Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification (required within 3 months of employment or promotion)
