Responsibilities

• Teach NCLEX-RN content areas, including management of care, safety and infection control, health promotion, psychosocial integrity, pharmacological and parenteral therapies, reduction of risk potential, and physiological adaptation.
• Explain the clinical judgment measurement model, computerized adaptive testing, and Next Generation item types to prepare students for licensure.
• Guide students through the clinical judgment model: recognizing cues, analyzing cues, prioritizing hypotheses, and evaluating outcomes.
• Teach delegation, supervision, medication safety, diagnostic result interpretation, and patient care prioritization using evidence-based frameworks.
• Develop systematic approaches to case studies and select-all-that-apply questions.
• Adapt instruction using UWorld, Kaplan, or ATI practice question banks, content review materials, and test-taking strategy workshops.
• Identify and address common student struggles, using multiple teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of NCLEX-RN test plan and common challenges, such as pharmacology dosage calculations, prioritization, delegation, and Next Generation case study formats.
• Familiarity with practice question banks (UWorld, Kaplan, ATI) and content review materials.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and student needs.
