NCC Adjunct Faculty-Aviation Maintenance

About the role
The Nashua Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for various courses within the Aviation Department.
Responsibilities
- Teach General Aviation Maintenance Topics (Classes 1-2 days a week, 6-7 hours, 16 weeks)
- Teach Powerplant Topics (Classes 1-2 days a week, 7-8 hours, 16 weeks)
- Teach Advanced Airframe Topics (Classes 1-2 days a week, 4-10pm, or Saturdays 8am-noon)
Requirements
- Education: Associates degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering or related field.
- Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
- Licenses/Certifications: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification.
- Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: FAA instructor experience, Recent Air Traffic Control experience, Adjunct Teaching experience.

The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
Schedule
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. Evening classes are scheduled 1-2 days a week, 4-10pm, or Saturdays 8am-noon.
