NCC Adjunct Faculty-Aviation Maintenance

About the Role
The Nashua Community College seeks adjunct instructors for various courses within the Aviation Department. The positions are temporary and for a specified contract period.
Responsibilities
- Teach General Aviation Maintenance Topics (1-2 days a week, 6-7 hours, 16 weeks)
- Teach Powerplant Topics (1-2 days a week, 7-8 hours, 16 weeks)
- Teach Advanced Airframe Topics (1-2 days a week, 4-10pm, or Saturdays 8am-noon, 16 weeks)
Requirements
- Education: Associates degree in aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering, or related field from a regionally accredited college or technical school
- Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control
- Licenses/Certifications: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification
- Preferred: FAA instructor experience, Recent Air Traffic Control experience, Adjunct Teaching experience
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
