NC Engineer

About the role

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located in Hamilton, Washington State. We are seeking a NC Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position involves creating and maintaining NC Programming and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge and development of the most up to date CNC/machining practices
• Develop and train personnel to new processes
• Work with CNC programmers and project teams to effectively process parts through CNC machines
• Communicate, consult with, and participate in design and manufacturing support
• Helps to develop and release planning and purchasing supplies
• Maintains an overview of production processes and facilities
• Develops and executes high level and detailed project plans, including managing schedules and budgets
• Directs and participates in engineering activities, including design and drafting, engineering reviews, and work order preparation
• Responsible for assuring materials are organized and ready for manufacturing
• Interacts frequently with the shop floor to ensure project health
• Completes and understands all quality requirements for projects
• Manages project scope and performs risk assessments
• Marks and reports project financial performance
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design Technology, or a similar field is required
• CNC programming/machining experience
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products; some experience with Catia, NX Unigraphics, and SAP is desirable
• A combination of Extensive work experience (10+ Years) and other education may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Must be familiar with a variety of the fields' concepts, practices and procedures
• Must be able to rely on extensive experience, problem-solving skills and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in the English language

Special Considerations

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is between $83,000 - $148,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts.
