About the role
Governor Thomas Johnson High School seeks a 12-month Navy Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Teacher position. Applicants must be approved and referred by the Navy.
Responsibilities
- Teach JROTC curriculum aligned with FCPS and Navy standards
- Support students in developing leadership skills and character
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programs
- Maintain discipline and ensure safety in the classroom and school environment
Requirements
- High school teaching certification
- Ability to work collaboratively with military personnel
- Passion for education and leadership development
