About the role

Governor Thomas Johnson High School seeks a 12-month Navy Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Teacher position. Applicants must be approved and referred by the Navy.

Responsibilities

  • Teach JROTC curriculum aligned with FCPS and Navy standards
  • Support students in developing leadership skills and character
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programs
  • Maintain discipline and ensure safety in the classroom and school environment

Requirements

  • High school teaching certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively with military personnel
