Navy Action Officer (Counter UAS) - Clearance Required

Job Description

We are seeking a Navy Action Officer (Counter - Unmanned Aircraft Systems ) to provide the program requirements management support for our OPNAV N96 support contract.

  • Provide on-site support and strategic analysis for Sensors & Navigation programs, ensuring alignment with DoD requirements and acquisition policies.
  • Act as the principal technical advisor, offering daily support, status updates, and recommendations on program cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Aid in supporting IPTs, advisory boards, off-sites, and working groups.
  • Prepare and present technical and financial briefs, reports, and documentation for major milestone decisions and Flag-level meetings.
  • Draft white papers, concept papers, technical reports, and meeting summaries related to Defense Planning Guidance activities.
  • Participate in acquisition processes, systems engineering design reviews, and lifecycle support for Navy Surface Fleet capabilities.
  • Analyze and develop acquisition strategies, draft presentations, and communicate program objectives to high-level officials.
  • Provide analysis to improve program management using new initiatives and best practices.
  • Conduct reliability, maintainability, availability analyses, and perform Total Ownership Cost evaluations.
  • Participate in risk assessments, tradeoff studies, and feasibility analyses.

Here’s what you need

  • Five (5) years of general experience, with at least five (3) years of hands-on experience in the following areas:
    • Assessing implementation of defined requirements associated to the mission and subsequently developing plans to better meet those requirements.
    • Assessing historical and current program performance in relation to mission objectives, and analyzing the effects of developmental plans and/or new technologies on all factors associated to the mission.
    • Daily interaction with senior leadership within affiliated organization.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000-120,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
